Noa completed her Honour’s Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and her Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics at York University. Following a corporate career in Analytics, she returned to school to complete her Psychotherapy training at the Transformational Arts College, with a focus on Transpersonal Psychotherapy. She believes that her role in counselling is that of a trusted companion for patients on their healing journey. Her work has involved treating patients for for depression, anxiety, management of stress, self-esteem & identity issues, sexuality & sexual orientation, relationship issues, PTSD, trauma, personal growth, and difficult life transitions. Modalities practiced in counselling include: Internal Family Systems Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, mind-body connection techniques such as Guided Imagery, breath work and Mindfulness-based interventions.
Noa’s mission is to create a therapeutic environment that advocates for self-empowerment, self-reliance, and self-acceptance, while empowering patients in maintaining healthy relationships. In addition to one-on-one therapy, Noa has facilitated workshops and courses in hospital, school and private practice settings.
