Dr. Vasilevskaya is an internal medicine specialist with experience in many different healthcare settings including hospital work and outpatient clinic work. She joined Institute for Behavioural & Functional Medicine because of her interest in helping patients finding lasting solutions to their health problems. This interest started after working with post-concussion patients at the Toronto Concussion Clinic. There, the focus was on helping patients retrain their physiology in order to restore health and quality of life. This was very different that her in-hospital work which was more focused on acute care and the medical management of chronic conditions. This has helped her develop a balanced approach to medical care: one that balances medical management and holistic care. She looks forward to serving Ontarians alongside our other team members in helping patients improve their health.
