Sarah graduated from McMaster with a Honours degree in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour program and has completed the graduate program Brain Disorders Management at Mohawk College. Throughout her time at McMaster, Sarah was the president of the McMaster Chapter of the Concussion Legacy Foundation, actively delivering presentations and coordinating events to spread awareness and educate on concussions. She was also an active part of the McMaster Women’s Football team as a player as well as being on the executive team.
Throughout her undergrad studies, and personal experiences with concussions, she developed a vast interest in the long-term impact multiple concussions have on the brain, and suboptimal signaling. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys yoga, personal fitness, reading and is a competitive equestrian.
