Dr. Tatevik Shaboyan

Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Shaboyan is an optometrist in Toronto, Ontario, having obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science from York University. She is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

Dr. Shaboyan is also a strong advocate for humanitarianism. She has participated in mission trips to Honduras, Peru, China, and Thailand to provide vision care to underprivileged communities. She was also in Armenia, helping at local hospitals and promoting routine eye exams.

Throughout her studies, Dr. Shaboyan was a member of the Dean’s Honour Roll at Waterloo and York Universities. She has completed ocular disease training at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Hospital in Kentucky, providing care to patients with cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and other ocular pathologies. She has also trained with doctors in Toronto and observed ocular surgeries, including cataract, retina, and LASIK. Dr. Shaboyan has also participated in a Contact Lens Training Seminar by Johnson & Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Alcon Academy for Eyecare Excellence in Forth Worth, Texas.

In her spare time, Dr. Shaboyan enjoys artwork, music, reading, and spending time with close friends and family. She is excited to be practicing in such a vibrant city, and is dedicated to providing quality eyecare to all her patients.
