POST-TRAUMATIC HEADACHES

The link between neurophysiology, symptoms & treatment

Headache is the most commonly reported symptoms post-concussion. The most common headache type post-concussion is one that resembles migraine. Migraine is the 2nd leading cause of disability world-wide. Although headaches’s causes and treatments may seem more obscure to many than other common health issues – colds, menstrual problems, ankle sprains, etc. – a lot of information is available as to what causes them and how to treat it. In fact, education alone has been shown to improve headaches in the Women’s Health and Migraine Trial (WHAM).

Join us to learn more about why we experience headache pain the way we do and the things we can do to address the mechanism of that experience and improve our headaches.
