Dr. Tim MacDonald is a distinguished physician with extensive expertise in both clinical medicine and psychotherapy.  He holds certification from the Canadian College of Family Medicine and earned his MD from the University of Western Ontario in 2000, alongside advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biology from the same institution.

Dr. MacDonald has completed the Medical Psychotherapy Association of Canada training program, several Internal Family Systems trainings along with diverse exposure to various psychotherapeutic modalities.  He has further experience with ketamine-assisted therapy and and ongoing interest in psychedelic psychotherapy.  He continues on his lifelong passion of learning new skills and techniques.  His practice demonstrates a commitment to integrating evidence-based psychotherapy techniques, emphasizing innovative methods to empower patients and address community health inequalities.

With deep clinical experience across rural health, family medicine, and mental health, Dr. MacDonald consistently seeks novel solutions to healthcare delivery. He works toward identifying and addressing healthcare disparities, especially in mental health and psychotherapy interventions.
